Floral Hexagon Patchwork Small Tote Bag / Lunch Tote Bag

I always like making small tote bags. They are suitable for both lady and little girl.

I used some new Atsuko Matsuyama floral fabrics and other floral fabrics to make this hexagon patchwork. It turns out really pretty and girly. This bag measures around 24cm x 24cm (around 9.4" x 9.4") with handles of around 41cm (around  16"). Just listed in my etsy shop.

Floral Fabric Buttons

Finally my baby was born on 23 May. His name is Christian. I am fine and resting at home now.

Last weekend, my sister came and helped me to make some 18mm floral fabric buttons. These are my favourite floral fabrics. I'm thinking to use some to decorate one of my cardigans.  I have also listed these in my etsy shop, only US $3 for six buttons at your choice.

A Medium Sized Patchwork Tote Bag

I always like fabric tote bags. They do not take up a lot of storing space as they can be folded up. Tote bags of different sizes and styles are must have items so as to suit different occasions and match clothes.

This tote bag measures around 11" (W) x 11.5" (H) x 2.7" (D) with a 19.5" handle. You can wear it on your shoulder. The patchwork is made of my favourite Atsuko Matsuyama fabrics, Japanese fabrics and some other fabrics. The two sides are different.

It has been a while...

It has been a while since my last post...I have been a great slacker, because I am pregnant!! My baby boy will come out in 14 days. I did not have any mood to do sewing since I have the baby in my tummy, and I always tell my friends and colleagues that this is because of his male hormones. I don't even have mood to make a bambi doll for him =.=

Recently, I managed to do some sewing. I know life will be very different but I still want to have time to sew!! It will be difficult but I am prepared to strike a balance among work, family and private time.

This is what I have made: a small zipper pouch with a little hexagon patchwork.

I think the bambi and floral combination is cute.

I used some scraps to decorate the back.

I like this Japan YKK zipper with a little gold metal head. I only use this kind of zipper.

Patchwork Pencil Cases

I will put some of my handmade products for sale in a handmade store later this month so I have been working very hard everyday after work, to cut fabrics and sew. These pencil cases are my new attempt.
